Frequently Asked Questions
-
Generally we feel that 7-8 years old is a good starting age where players can focus and take turns. We run games for all ages into adulthood. The story and description will always be age-appropriate. Parents should expect fantasy combat in the vein of The Lord of the Rings or The Hobbit.
-
Of course! We can run a game that will support the newer players while challenging everyone with an exciting story.
If everyone in the group is new to Dungeons & Dragons, we do recommend our Learn to Play option to ensure the players want to commit to a larger number of sessions.
-
Get in touch and we can work with your schedule to make sure everyone can come together to play.
-
If the DM has to cancel, we will offer a make-up session at the earliest possible date. If we cannot find a reasonable make-up date, we will offer future session credit or a full refund for the session.
Individual players have the responsibility to attend all scheduled sessions. No refunds are offered for individually skipped sessions.
If the entire party has to cancel a session, there is a four-week grace period to find a make-up date with the DM. If no acceptable date can be found the session will be skipped and no refund will be issued.
-
Of course! If you’re well-versed in the game you can build your own character. Just make sure to okay anything homebrew with the DM.

Any online tool we use, including Roll20.net, Discord, Zoom, and DnDbeyond.com are all free-to-create accounts.

-
Absolutely! Snacks are an integral part of the Dungeons & Dragons experience!
